Testimony

Never did I know the difference between Christianity and traditional temple worshipping until I came to Christ in 1999.  I assumed that Jesus is just another god, namely a foreign god.  Yet as I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior, I believe in my heart that He is the One — the Way, the Truth and the Life — Who can give us a brand new life.  Whoever comes to Christ, he has become a new creation and all things have passed away.

Back to 1999 when I studied in the States, a Christian brother invited me to attend his cell group fellowship.  Three months later, his wife asked me and my wife to receive Jesus as our Savior. On December 26 my  wife and I were both baptized into the name of Jesus Christ

One of the biggest life changing moments in my Christian walk was to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  Though I had the water baptism and read the Bible since then, I could see no difference in being a Christian.  I was fed up with reading the Bible because I didn’t make any sense of it. Then God’s mercy fell up me and gave me a longing desire to seek Him. One night I lay my kneels down before the Lord crying out and asking Him to fill me with His Spirit. On that night nothing happened after two hours of praying.  However, two days later when I was invited to a prophetic training meeting. God’s Spirit taking control of me like electric current flowing through my body, I couldn’t help but prostrate and start speaking in tougues. From then on I know I am a changed peron.  The Spirit makes me love to live for Jesus, to have passion for Jesus and compassion for the lost.
